I Camped For The Night In A Cemetary in Carrboro, NC.

Westwood Cemetary, Carrboro, NC. Thank you to whomevers grave stone I slept behind.

So, I was diagnosed with “The Sickness” at the University of New Mexico in the year of our lord two thousand and twenty eleven. I was scared of how my life was going to turn out, due to recently being diagnosed with a chronic, degenerative disease of my central nervous system that has no cure. The second neurologist (an MS “specialist”) after the true diagnosis, told me I did not have MS, but something called nmda receptor antibody encephalitis and that no neurologists in New Mexico knew about it, as it was only discovered in 2007. I unfortunately had just started my path on earning an art education degree…at said teaching hospital.

Time to start panicking?

YES. With lot’s more panicking and stress in the coming 11 years.

That’s coming up next.

So I had a yard sale and sold, or gave away everything I owned, including 3 paintings an intoxicated native paid me $175 dollars for. So I emailed my dad who was living in San Diego and traveling in his camper with his girlfriend all over kingdom come, and told him that I had just spent the past 3 days at the University of NM with a diagnosis of NMDA receptor antibody encephalitis and that a neurologist at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC. knew about this new disease, and that I was taking the train to go and try to see the doctor there. Cornelius Hogbauer said he and his companion would meet me there.

Stay tuned for the rest of the story…
